How long have you been caring for dogs?

My career in pet care began in 2020.

What types of animals do you care for?

At this time, I only care for dogs (ages 3 months and up).

Do you board?

At this time I do not accept boarding requests - all care is done in the home of the pet.

Do you offer post-surgical care?

Dogs recovering from surgery that require specialty care are booked on a case by case basis depending on the extent of the medical need. Please submit a booking inquiry form on the Contact page. 

Do you care for all breeds?

I care for all breeds of dogs, however your pet must be non-reactive to humans. Any reactivity to other dogs or animals must be reported at the time of booking.

Do you administer medication?

Yes! From topicals to pills to injections I can oversee all of your dog's general medicinal needs. At the time of booking, please be prepared to provide all medicine names, dosages, and timings. 

Do you supply food?

No - all food and consumables (e.g., treats) must be provided by the dog owner along with a feeding schedule.

Where are you based?

I am based in downtown Chicago, but also accept bookings from the North Shore suburbs. If you are not sure if you are in my service area, please send me a booking inquiry! 

What is your process?

Due to complex scheduling requirements, online scheduling at this time is not accepted. All booking requests are considered in the order they are received via the online booking inquiry form on the Contact page. Your inquiry will be answered within 1-3 business days, and I will work directly with you to schedule and understand your pet's unique needs.

What are your prices?

Please see the individual "Services" tab for pricing. If you have additional questions, please fill out a booking inquiry form in the Contact tab.

When do I make a payment for services?

All payments are due at the time of booking unless paying in cash. Cash payments are due at arrival prior to the start of service.

What methods of payment do you accept?

Payments can be made via cash, check, Venmo, or Zelle. Returned checks will incur a 20% fee added to the total amount owed.

Do I tip?

Tips are not expected, but they are greatly appreciated. Tips can be left in cash, or sent via Venmo/Zelle.

Do you have a referral program?

Yes, I do! Referrals are always appreciated. As thanks for sharing my information with your friends and family, once your referral completes $100 worth of services with me you will receive a $15 credit (equivalent to a free 30 minute walk) to be used on any of my services - no restrictions!

What are your holiday rates?

Holidays are a busy time of year - but don't worry! I'll be here to care for your pets. Please know that holiday bookings typically fill 1-3 months in advance. Below are specific holidays that incur upcharges (vary by service - please submit a booking inquiry form for specific service rates during these times).

What is your cancellation policy

For drop-ins and day walks: 

  • Cancellations made at least 48 hours in advance are fully refundable
  • Cancellations made within 48 hours are not refundable. 

For daytime sitting

  • Cancellations made at least one week in advance are fully refundable
  • Cancellations made at least 72 hours in advance are 50% refundable
  • Cancellations made within 72 hours are not refundable

For overnight stays

  • Cancellations made at least two weeks in advance are fully refundable
  • Cancellations made at least one week in advance are 50% refundable
  • Cancellations made within one week are not refundable

Please note - for any services booked with promise of cash payment, cancellation within a non-refundable window requires electronic payment of the amount owed. If payment is not received within 24 hours, future services will be terminated. Thank you!
